Case Study Analysis
Introduction
When a company undergoes the hiring process, there are many things that an employer must take into consideration whilst he is choosing a candidate. In today’s society, the job market is becoming much more competitive, and, while there are thousands of up-and-coming, qualified young contenders fresh out of college, a little preconditioned experience can go a long way. During my analysis of the case study regarding ABC, Inc.’s hiring dilemma, I have come across a few apparent problems in the case that may or may not have been the cause of what could be a bad hiring experience – and in more ways than one. ABC, Inc. hired a new campus recruiter circa sometime in October of the prior year. In April of the current year, this new campus recruiter was expected to bring on 15 new hires and have them ready for training by June. Contacted by the Operations Supervisor, who the new recruiter was hiring for, a list of tasks was established and to be completed by the anticipated start date for the new hires to begin their training in June, hopefully to be working for the company by July. Background
Carl Robins, the new campus recruiter for ABC, Inc., successfully recruited 15 new hires for the Operations Supervisor, Monica Carrolls, in April of this year. Carl scheduled and orientation for the new hires to take place on June 15 of this year, giving him plenty of time to fulfill the mandated tasks assigned to him by Monica in order to have the new recruits ready for the scheduled orientation. On May 15, Monica contacted Carl about the training schedule, orientation, manuals, policy booklets, physicals, drug tests, as well as other issues. It was up to Carl to coordinate these tasks for the new hires. After Memorial Day, Carl went back over his file to finalize the paperwork, noticing that much of his paperwork was incomplete and many of the…

Case Analysis Study
Carl Robins, a recruiter at ABC Inc. has hired 15 new trainees. Although that is a great number of recruits for Carl’s first recruitment, he has managed to get himself in a situation that is difficult for him to get out of. Carl had given Monica Carrolls, the operations supervisor, his word on May 15, when he spoke to her; he would have all of the orientation packets, drug tests, booklets, training schedule, etc. ready for her by June 15 to start orientation with the new recruits. Although Carl was hoping for the employees to start by July, that doesn’t seem to be the case any longer. Carl has not yet finished the tasks that he said he would finish by the intended due date, therefore; creating a problem for not only himself, but others that are involved as well. Case Study Analysis
Important as it is as a recruiter to gain many recruits, it is necessary that an individual is capable of preparing certain tasks to get the trainees ready to start orientation. In order to do that, it is necessary that the recruiter be prepared using proper skills such as: time management, communication, set goals, and be organized. Although Carl had good intentions of starting his new recruits in July, he has not communicated with Monica to let her know that he will not be able to meet the deadline he promised her. Carl has also not managed his time in a sufficient way by preparing himself for this project. Knowing that he signed up his recruits for orientation in the computer lab, Carl should have double checked to make sure that nobody else had signed up for time as he did. It is important to keep organized and to set some goals, that way there is no confusion between anybody and things will get done in a timely fashion.
